Restful Nights: How the Peaceful Sleep Blend Helped Me Finally Sleep Through the Night

Hi, I’m Elena, and I honestly didn’t think I’d ever sleep properly again.
For years, I’d wake up around 2 or 3 a.m., mind racing, just lying there waiting for morning. It didn’t matter how tired I was. My brain would just refuse to switch off. I tried everything: herbal teas, magnesium, even white noise, like humming, ocean waves sound, etc, but nothing made a real difference.

A friend from yoga told me about Amrita Court and said their Peaceful Sleep Blend really helped her wind down. I wasn’t expecting much, but after one too many sleepless weeks, I finally decided to give it a go.

The First Night I Tried It

When the bottle arrived, the first thing I noticed was the smell. It was soft and calming, not like those artificial lavender candles. It’s made with true lavender, geranium, vetiver, ylang ylang, valerian and a few other oils like lemon myrtle, petitgrain and mandarin. You can tell it’s a real essential oil: pure, slightly earthy and very soothing.

That night, I followed the little ritual guide they included on the website:

  • I dimmed the lights about half an hour before bed
  • Added 6 or 7 drops into my diffuser
  • Took a few deep breaths while brushing my teeth
  • Then rubbed a tiny bit (diluted) on my wrists and temples

It felt like I was doing something nice for myself rather than just trying to “fix” my sleep.

The First Week

The first couple of nights, I still woke up once, but falling back asleep was easier this time. By night four or five, I realised I felt calmer before bed. That usual anxious feeling that shows up around bedtime just wasn’t there.

After about a week, I slept straight through the night for the first time in ages. No 3 a.m. wake-ups. I actually woke before my alarm feeling... okay. It might sound small, but for me, that was a big deal.

What I Think Helped

I think it was a combination of the oils and the routine of using them. The smell of lavender and vetiver now tells my body it’s time to sleep. The citrusy notes from mandarin and lemon myrtle keep it from feeling too heavy.

I also liked that it’s Australian-made and natural. Synthetic fragrances usually bother me, but this one didn’t at all.

My Little Bedtime Ritual (Now a Habit)

Here’s what I do most nights:

1. Around 9:30 p.m. I turn off my phone and play soft instrumental music.

2. Add 6 drops of Peaceful Sleep to my diffuser (I use the Moonlight one).

3. Mix 1-2 drops with a teaspoon of carrier oil and apply behind the ears and on wrists.

4. Sit quietly and take 5 slow breaths: in for 4, out for 6.

5. Lights out.

It’s simple, but now my brain associates that scent with winding down. Even my partner says the bedroom smells like “spa night.”

Final Thoughts

I know everyone’s sleep issues are different, but this blend genuinely made a difference for me. It doesn’t knock me out. It just helps me relax enough for sleep to happen naturally.

If you’ve been struggling to fall or stay asleep, I’d say try this one consistently for at least a week. For me, that’s when the shift happened.
